The Egyptian had the ball on the right of the box with little space. He wriggled away from Martina and Gueye with a display of strength and skill.
He then curled the ball around the body of the defender and straight into the top corner, giving Pickford no chance. Liverpool finally took the lead after a first half in which they were clearly dominant, but they needed Salah's magic to do the trick.
