Having ignored the likes of Barcelona last summer, Leicester City and Riyad Mahrez have reached an agreement after the player handed in a transfer request.
The Foxes will allow the player to leave, but not at any price. After splashing out £53m for Lacazette, Arsenal saw their £35 million bid for the Algerian turned down.
Mahrez is expected to join Leicester for their pre-season training on Friday, with the Gunners unwilling to meet the £50 million price tage the Foxes slapped on the 26-year-old.
Arsene Wenger will give up on the 2016 PFA Player of the Year, prioritising the signing of Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, rated at £80 million.
