The winger is an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's setup and had already netted three goals this term despite missing three Premier League games after his dismissal at the Etihad.
However, Liverpool have been dealt a heavy blow after ruling out Sadio Mane for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury he sustained in Senegal's 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over the Cape Verde Islands on Saturday.
