Antonio Conte has made Swansea forward Andre Ayew a surprise target for Chelsea, according toThe Sun.
Throughout the summer Chelsea have been linked with some big-named strikers like Gonzalo Higuain, Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku, however, it now looks as though Conte has opted against chasing one these sought-after forwards.
Seansea's Ghana international is expected to leave the Liberty Stadium this summer, and the Blues are hoping to swoop in and sign him up for deal worth around £12 million.
Swans boss Fancesco Guidolin has already identified Ayew's replacement and has made a move for Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston, who had an impressive spell on loan with Eibar last season.
