Fabregas scored very early for Chelsea from Hazard's cross. The home side had control of what looked to be a comfortable game. In two crazy minutes Crystal Palace turned it around. Zaha, in the 9th minute, and Benteke, with a sublime chip in the 11th, quietened Stamford Bridge.
A shell-shocked Chelsea did not take long to pile on the pressure and, despite many chances on Hennessey's goal, the visitors had the lead at the break.
The second half began as the first ended. An impressive defensive display from Palace and Hennessey. Chelsea, with 24 shots in the game, had enough clear chances to win, but lack of accuracy and a solid Crystal Palace earned them a fourth defeat of the season.
3 - In all three of Chelsea's league defeats this season, the Blues have been losing at half-time (Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs). Omen?

Allardyce's men pick up a crucial victory, while the Blues miss a chance to distance themselves at the top. Spurs now only seven points behind Chelsea.
