Standing at 6ft 7in, the striker's record comes as no surprise. Peter Crouch will be in the 2018 Guinness World Records book for the most headed goals scored in the Premier League.
Playing for Aston Villa, Southampton, Liverpool, Portsmouth, Tottenham and Stoke, the 36-year-old has scored 51 headed goals in the top flight of English football, surpassing Alan Shearer's previous record of 46 headers in May 2015.
'It feels good! To hold any record, certainly in the Premier League, is great. I'm very proud of it. If you are a centre-forward, you should be in the box, ready for the ball', said the former England international, who has scored 105 Premier League goals in 436 appearances.
'That is the way I have always played my game and that will never change. I see centre-forwards hanging around outside the box and it blows my mind, I just can't get my head around it', he concluded.
