The newspaper claims that the Liverpool boss has told senior officials on Merseyside that Insigne is the man that he wants to replace the wantaway Brazilian, should he complete a move to the Camp Nou this summer.
The 'Reds' are aware of how persistent Barca are likely to be in their pursuit of their star, especially given that money is no object for the Catalans. Should Liverpool be unable to keep hold of coutinho, it seems that they will move for Insigne.
Insigne has been linked with Liverpool on a number of occasions in recent years, with the club holding a long-standing interest in the player.
