A host of cameras were at Heathrow airport to greet Alvaro Morata as he stepped of his plane ahead of his club-record move to Stamford Bridge.
The Spain international spoke to Sky Sports, saying he was 'so happy' to work with Conte in one of the 'best clubs' in the world.
In answer to why he was joining Chelsea he said: 'Because it is the best club. Antonio Conte is one of the best coaches of the world and I am so happy to work with Antonio'.
'The most important thing is that I am here to play for Chelsea. I am here and I only need to take the medical so everything is OK. [The Premier League] is one of the best in the world and I am so happy to be here'.
The centre-forward was pictured saying goodbye to his Real Madrid mates in Los Angeles before hopping on a plane to London, after the Spanish club and Chelsea agreed a club-record fee for his transfer.
Morata is expected to complete a medical for Chelsea on Friday before signing a five-year deal worth in the region of £155,000 a week.
