Euro 2020 will be different to anything witnessed before in European football. The venues will not all be in a single host country, but up to 12 important cities across the continent will share the responsibility.
The opening fixture (Group A) will take place at Roma's Olimpico Stadium (Italy). With Portugal defending the title, the lack of Portuguese cities on the list is noteworthy.
Here are the host city pairings established on the basis of sporting strength and geographical considerations
Group A: Rome and Baku
Group B: Amsterdam and Bucharest
Group C: Saint Petersburg and Copenhagen
Group D: London and Glasgow
Group E: Bilbao and Dublin
Group F: Munich and Budapest
