The French midfielder starred for Manchester United on Saturday, scoring the goal of the game and assisting another in the 4-0 win, but he knows he was possibly lucky to still be on the pitch.
He was booked by referee Jon Moss for bringing down Tom Carroll cynically in the 26th minute before clipping Martin Olsson's ankle just four minutes later.
Moss elected to just give the 24-year-old a talking-to rather than brandishing a second yellow and sending Pogba for an early bath.
Still smiling after inspiring United to a second four-goal win in a week, Pogba said: "I was not worried. The referee came to talk to me and I laughed with him. I said, 'Are you serious?'"
United boss Jose Mourinho agreed with his midfielder in thinking that he was not lucky to stay on the pitch.
"I don't even think the first yellow card is so, so deserved," Mourinho told reporters.
"I think the yellow card is a little bit out of context because I thought that Jonathan was having a certain kind of criteria that wouldn't bring an easy yellow card."
