Real's dynamic duo who are yet to taste defeat against an English side

As we informed yesterday, Spurs have never scored against Real Madrid, however, that is not the only thing that bodes well for Real.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema have played together for 'Los Blancos', the Spanish giants have never lost against an English side.

Zinedine Zidane's side have played six games against English teams during that time but have not experienced a single defeat with Ronaldo and Benzema on the pitch.

Due to injuries, loss of form and suspensions, it has been quite some time since the duo lined up alongside each other for 'Los Merengues', but they rekindled their partnership against Getafe in La Liga on Saturday, firing their side to a 2-1 victory with a goal apiece.

The pair are once again expected to start at the Bernabeu on Tuesday, giving Spurs yet another hoodoo to put to bed if they want to take control of group H.

Real's last defeat to an English side came at the hands of Liverpool back in March 2009, but neither Ronaldo nor Benzema had arrived in the Spanish capital at that point.
