Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane will come face to face at the Bernabeu on Tuesday evening in a heavyweight Champions League clash that will be worth more than simply earning three points.
Only Lionel Messi, Edinson Cavani and Robert Lewandowski have scored more goals than the pair since January 1 2017.
Messi comfortably leads the way having netted 58 times this year, while Cavani and Lewandowski can only boast one more than Ronaldo and Kane with 44 goals.
Between the Real Madrid and Tottenham forwards, however, there's one thing that leans in the favour of Kane. He has scored the same amount of goals in fewer games than Ronaldo, therefore making his ratio better.
Ronaldo has played 46 games for club and country, while Kane has on played 38, 32 with Tottenham and six with England.
To put it simply, Kane is currently averaging more than one goal per game, something Ronaldo has not been capable of since the turn of the year.
