Conte wants Palace's Benteke on loan

According to the 'Daily Mail', Chelsea are exploring the possibility of bringing Benteke to Stamford Bridge on loan for the remainder of the season. 

However, the 'Eagles' would reportedly be unwilling to consider a temporary switch to a fellow Premier League team, though they could be tempted to let the Belgian leave permanently. 

The Premier League champions have only scored one goal in their last four games and could be forced into spending big to ensure that they secure a striker in this transfer window. 

The 27-year-old has made 53 appearances for Palace, scoring 16 goals, since joining from Liverpool in 2016. 

Andy Carroll, Edin Dzeko and Peter Crouch are allegedly some of the strikers that have been considered by the 'Blues', who are currently in fourth-place in the Premier League and face stiff competition from Arsenal and Tottenham for that final Champions League position.
