The 25-year-old has impressed for the 'Hornets' this campaign, having scored seven goals in 22 Premier League appearances.
However, his club's ominous slide down the table following their promising early start makes it unlikely that they will be able to keep hold of him should bigger clubs come calling in the summer.
Liverpool are thought to be on the look out for a player to replace Emre Can, who looks destined for a move to Italian side Juventus, and have identified the France U21 international as a priority target, whilst Arsenal and Spurs are also thought to be closely monitoring the former Rennes man.
When appearing as a guest on French media channel 'Telefoot', Doucoure was asked: "The French media understands clubs like Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal are following you - what is the objective?"
"It's true that these clubs are interested in me," Doucoure replied. "But I am at Watford and my focus is on finishing the season well and to maintain their Premier League status.
"After, when the club and I make the decision to make the next step, then that will have to be agreed but, for now, I am focused on Watford."
