The Spanish newspaper claims that Cristiano Ronaldo has already made his offer to the Treasury as he looks to close the case with a financial settlement and avoid criminal proceedings.
Therefore, the Real Madrid forward will reportedly be willing to pay any amount that the Tax Agency deems appropriate. In return, the Treasury will allegedly withdraw their jail request.
Further Spanish media, such as 'Diario AS', are certain that Ronaldo will reach an agreement with the Treasury to put an end to the case.
The Prosecutor's Office has claimed that Ronaldo has avoided €14.7million in taxes, but the investigation is still on-going and Nestor Carmona, the head of the Spanish Tax Office, will announce his decision on March 23.
