FC Basel:
Swiss defensive midfielder Luca Zuffi has been training, but looks unlikely to be called into the starting line-up by manager Raphael Wicky.
Goalkeeper Germano Vailati has been sidelined since last October with a long-term injury, and will not feature.
Manchester City:
The 'Sky Blues' have been handed a triple injury boost in the run-up to their journey to Switzerland. David Silva, who has been out for two games with a knock, Fabian Delph, who hasn't been in the side for two weeks, and Leroy Sane, who picked up an ankle injury in City's FA Cup victory over Cardiff last month, all trained today. Whether they all start remains to be seen, but Guardiola will be glad to have three key players back in contention.
He can also count on John Stones and Phil Foden, with both players returning from injury to make appearances in City's 5-1 thrashing of Leicester. Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus remain absent, however.
