The Citizens are still awaiting official confirmation that the Brazilian is eligible to play for the club, but Pep Guardiola's side are likely to receive confirmation within the next 24 hours that the forward can play.
City confirmed the signing of Jesus back in August, but he spent the rest of the Brazilian season with former side Palmeiras.
The player was previously third-party owned, somthing which is illegal in England, meaning that the club has had to sign this off before he can play.
It is likely that the Brazil international will be included in City's matchday squad to face Spurs, but will probably not start given his lack of Premier League experience.
