In an interview with 'RAC1', the former Barca president Joan Gaspart spoke about the final of the Copa del Rey on Saturday. The Catalan giants will face Sevilla at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Gaspart acknowledged that he had endured a very bad time after Barca were eliminated from the European elite competition by AS Roma.
He said: ''I suffered for two days in a row, I was very upset about Barca's defeat in Rome and it was very tough the next day. That's because Real qualified as well. It was like two parallel moments of suffering. I wanted Juventus to get through but in the end, the opposite happened.''
The former club president added: ''We will probably have to suffer in the Copa final and then try to win La Liga as soon as possible. Preferably against Deportivo rather than in 'El Clasico'. But the whole season is this year is about winning the double and Real Madrid not winning anything.''
Gaspart added that he wishes nothing good for 'Los Blancos', he said: ''The most important thing is La Liga but I want three things: Barcelona to win that, then the Copa as well and for Real Madrid not to win the Champions League.''
