Malaga's demotion to Spain's second division was sealed after they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Levante on Thursday, becoming the first team across Europe's five major leagues to be relegated.
It means the Andalusian club will not feature in La Liga for the first time in 10 years. Although former player Isco believes the 'Boquerones' will bounce back even stronger.
Taking to Instagram, Isco posted a picture of himself during his time in the south of Spain along with the caption: "The feeling never dies, wherever it is, we will return, we always do, today and always."
The midfielder made 82 appearances for Malaga between 2011 and 2013, scoring 17 goals in the process.
