Harry Wilson celebrated his 21st birthday in the best way imaginable: by scoring his first ever goal for his country. The goal came in the the 45th minute of Wales' friendly against China, after the forward cut inside of He Guan and hit a lovely finish past goalkeeper Yan Junling. The goal gave his side a 0-4 lead just before the halftime whistle.
Ryan Giggs' Wales were playing in the China Cup, a mini-tournament of friendlies held in China. Their game against the hosts was one of two semi-finals in the tournament, the other being contested by Uruguay and the Czech Republic.
Wilson moved to Hull City on loan from Liverpool in January, and has been highly impressive for the Championship so far, scoring three and assisting two in six league appearances for his new club.
He is an exciting prospect for Liverpool, and has also shone for the Merseyside club's U23 side in the first half of the season, scoring ten times.
