The Parisians claimed their fifth title in six years with a 7-1 win over Monaco last week, but speaking ahead of the game against Bordeaux on Sunday, Mbappe insisted that the club will not be taking their foot off the gas as they look to break their own record points tall of 96 points.
"What motivates us today are the records we can chase," Mbappe told the club's official website. "We are competitors and that is our motivation.
"We know the points record is not far away. We know we can make history, we will do what it takes to achieve that."
Three wins from their remaining five games will see them equal the record, with four wins and a draw enough for a snesational 100-points season.
Whilst manager Unai Emery is widely expected to leave at the end of the season, the Spaniard insists that his side will not be found wanting for motivation between now and the end of the season..
"We remain ambitious and motivated for every match. We want to maintain consistency," he told the club website.
"It's true that the objective is to win (the league) but afterwards you have to continue with the same spirit.
"Bordeaux have a beautiful stadium and they play good football. The supporters will get to see a good match."
