The Tottenham defender is in demand with three top-tier teams vying to sign the centre-back. United and Barcelona were already waiting in the wings, and according to the 'Telegraph', PSG have also joined the queue.
Alderweireld's contract with 'Spurs' is due to expire in summer of 2019 and there has been no new long-term deal agreed with the club. The French giants are looking to bolster their defensive options after crashing out of the Champions League.
The 29-year-old has a £25 million release clause written into his contract, although Tottenham are still able to extend Alderweireld's deal by another 12 months.
The club would be more willing for the defender to transfer abroad, given that they do not want to strengthen their rivals in the Premier League. It is speculated that offers will be made by all three clubs in the region of £40million.
This season, Alderweireld has played in only ten games due to a hamstring injury that occurred back in November.
