Stoke: Glen Johnson could return to action after coming back from a groin problem, whilst Charlie Adam is back after suspension. Peter Crouch could be handed a start up front after he became Stoke's top Premier League goalscorer against West Ham on Monday night.
Burnley: Centre-back James Tarkowski faces a late fitness test after picking up a knock in the defeat to Chelsea in midweek, with defensive colleague Ben Mee also out. Midfielders Steven Defour and Robbie Brady are both out for the season.
Stoke boss Paul Lambert:
"I think we've got to win three out of the four, regardless of where it comes from. And that's the mindset. We have to win.
"If we have the backing like we have, and we make this place really hostile, which I know it can be because I've seen it, and we play with that intensity and that tempo, and we have the fire in the stomach to go and get a result, then we've got a really good chance."
Burnley boss Sean Dyche:
"I think we've shown that even with us getting to the first big marker - which was obviously 40 points - that the players have still got the appetite to play and the appetite to win games is still there.
"I though it was there again against Chelsea. In the end they were too strong for us but the mentality was there.
"We want that to go into every game so there are no question marks over my group, I don't think, to go into Sunday with that winning mentality because that's what we've had and that's what we want to keep improving at."
